Plus it has been getting very cold at night when we camp, and I know she is happier in it. This week alone we have dealt with hail, snow, ice rain, and so on. Pretty crazy!!! But I love it!”

“I purchased the most amazing Zentek coat for my Italian Greyhound (IG). It’s totally fashionable, lightweight, functional and made by a Seattle company. My IG has a lot of coats but they were always lacking something (and he hated wearing them despite the fact he totally needs one in the winter.) He plays frisbee in the coat and loves to strut around Ballard in it (okay maybe I like to strut him around Ballard in it!) The thing I have found the most amusing is the comments his coat gets from guys . . . at least ten have commented on what a cool coat it is. The coats are sold through the web and at a few local retailers. Highly recommend it and am planning on buying another one in a different color.”

“We’ve gone on a couple of hikes with greater than 84 degree weather. I’ve been favorably impressed, the coat is obviously very comfortable. Murphy has complete range of motion and is fully active in the jacket. He also didn’t show any heat sensitivity. At the end of a 5 mile hike, when I offered both dogs water, Murphy passed to instead get the favorite seat in the car, while Finn, who didn’t have a coat, drank every drop of water I gave her. Believe it or not, Murphy’s favorite pastime is chasing airplanes. The distance photo is of Murphy doing just that. To date, he hasn’t caught one, and I don’t think the coat is going to help him in that endeavor. But, short of not allowing him to catch an airplane, the coat is wonderful.”

The Murph is less than 8″ at the whithers and his chest is 1 in off the ground, but he doesn’t let his diminutive nature stop him. Here is my trike set up with a trailer that is all his own. Cassi trains for Disc Dog sport with four of her dogs. Her dogs also participate in Agility, Dock Diving, Flyball and Ttherapy Dogs. Cassi tested the coat on her high flying disc catching dogs in the Arizona summer with great results! Not only did the coat keep her dogs cool, but they were still able to leap and play comfortably. They now live in WA State were the coat is tested for cool weather!

She happened to bring it to a fundraiser garage sale that we were having for the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation.
