Designed for Search and Rescue Canines.

The Search Coat was developed when we discovered local search and rescue teams were already using our products. We participated in a local SARS Conference and listened. Out of that came the Tricolor Search coat. The coat is made of a packcloth, heavier than the original sport coat, but still wind and water resistant with the pockets covering the side straps to protect against getting caught up in undergrowth. The pockets have inside waterproof zippers . The search dogs' credentials can be safely stitched or mounted on these pockets.Of course, it's completely underlined in Comfortemp for temperature regulation. The colors assure that the dog can be seen in any terrain, any time of year. Even the placement of the colors were considered--so they could not blend to a neutral tone from a distance. Still has the light reflective trim and label.

Buckle closures on the S-6 and S-7, and velcroed straps on S-8 S-9 and S-10.

These coats are made to order. We do not carry any stock on these. Expected delivery time 3-4 weeks.

Wright County MN Kennel Club Search and Rescue Unit

Posted by Sharolyn Sievert on 25th Jun 2012

I am a volunteer search and rescue K-9 handler for Central Lakes Search and Rescue (CLSAR). A few years ago, Wright County MN Kennel Club purchased Zentek search and rescue coats for the dogs in our search and rescue unit. We were thrilled with the donation. I should explain that CLSAR is a 501(c)3 non-profit that is completely a volunteer organization. We don't charge for our services or expect remuneration for our time or expenses. All of our SAR expenses come out of the family check books, or through donations and fundraisers. The coats were a welcome gift for our hard-working dogs. And I have to say, they get used. We were on a search last month in a pouring cold rain. After loading my dog up with the Zentek coat on her, she curled up in a ball and went to sleep. A some time later, she got up, shook and I realized that not only was she nice and warm, she had actually dried off. This was even with the back of the truck open so we could stand under the gate & try to stay dry ourselves. I've attached a photo of some of our dogs wearing their coats. They are terrific.

Love the S& R coat on Tazz-- we can find him when he is in the woods on Shaw Island. And he can go swimming in it.
