This is a cold pack whose 'change' temperature is set at 58F. this means the temperature it is designed to maintain. Also the temperature it changes from liquid to solid state. This prevents freezer burn and from the muscles getting too cold.. We are using it to supercharge the cloth phase change material we use, that is set at 83F. We are able to use less of these packs, as they are a catalyst to keep the light rweight cloth phase change working.
We use two sizes.. 1 for the scarves. 3 - 3 X 2 " packs
