Zentek Cooling Mask is here by popular demand. We looked at CDC recommendations, and our customers requests—as we always do—and came up with this. Masks get hot, so we added the cooling material to the inside lining. They also fog up glasses, so we added a wire (pipe cleaner) to the top so you can form to your face.

We are using the same material that we use for your vests, so they are 3 layers—the inside being a very lightweight tricot. Bright and dark colors available. They are edged with a soft lycra that ties around the ears (CDC recommended), allowing for a custom fit. After fitting, you can cut off the extra; it won’t fray. We also added a flash black mask—it looks black in the daytime but flashes blue or red when light hits it at night, making it a great nighttime safety mask.

*** We have just switched to a silk lining. University of Chicago research showed silk to be a 90 percent protection vs the N95’s (07/21/2020). I am “donating” my personal silk collection—all us dressmakers have those—then we will have to do a price increase. I’m trying to find more silk parachute cloth, the tightest weave. The research was done with 2 layers of chiffon, which is a very open weave.

    I simply love this mask. I requested 2 sets of ties because I wear glasses and the stretchy tie fabric was too thick to be worn behind my ears comfortably. The top set of ties stay tied and the lower set of ties are the only ones I untie when I take it off. The mask stays in place at the bridge of my nose because it has a wire I can adjust to fit. Additionally the mask fits close to my face and doesn't slid down when talking. I've worn it out snow shoveling and my glasses don't fog up and my face doesn't get all sweaty. I simply love this mask!

    I like the mask it is comfortable to wear but it did take a couple of times to get the fit right. I do wish the pleats had a bit of stiffener because just breathing causes the material to move in and stop me breathing thru my nose. It is much better when I got the fit right. Aside from being cooler it is comfortable on the face and ears. It also fits close on the sides of my face better than other cloth masks

    This material is soft & comfortable. The height is generous (~9" when stretched out) and the mask stays put over my nose & under my chin when running . The ear straps are adjustable, stretchy, and very comfortable compared to other masks I have.

    Seems more comfortable than the one I got from you a couple of months ago. It's probably the silk. Also feels slightly larger than the first mask.

    Not sure about the cooling factor yet- weather hasn’t been real hot- BUT it is very comfortable!

    Nice material but straps are too short for the mask to be worn appropriately. At this point sadly, a Do Not Buy.Response..Do you know that these tie behind the ears? The top tie ties to the bottom loops. You can order them with longer straps to tie around the head. We followed CDC reccommendations.

    Like the feel and fit. Not too hot but wouldn’t consider it “cooling”. Main concern is that the ties were cut quite short and needed extended to fit at all let alone comfortably. response.. these masks tie to the bottom loops and worn around the ears.. Went with CDC recommendation.
