How long does it last? FOREVER! Going on ten years!
Since the micro capsules are imbedded into the fabric and are set to adjust automatically, the mat will do it's job forever!
No freezing or power required! Amazing!
SAFER ALTERNATIVE to typical cold mats. It is not safe to ice an overheated dog.
Zentek Mats keep your dog in the safe zone, by keeping a steady temp, pulling the heat away from the body.
AND.... keeps them warm during winter, after trials, after surgery!
** The bling colors are made like a pillow sham.. so you can slip a 1-2" pad inside them.. or even a cold pack. This also ensures the pad stays flat and in place.

Perhaps if have small dogs would work, but with bernese mountain dogs....especially in a crate...it just slides around and bunches up in a corner...had got to use for dog shows so in crate while on the van. So no clue if actually keeps cool. Probably will just give to a friend. Pretty bummed It doesn't matter if the dog scrunches up the pad.. it still works.Think of it as a heat pump.. absorbing excess heat.
For agility trials right now we crate out of the car and even with a fan my dogs were hot. So I bought these to keep them cool while waiting their turn. They made a difference for sure. I put them on top of their normal crate mat and noticed a change in behavior from our previous trial. They were panting less and resting comfortably more between their runs. Definitely worth the purchase.
I ordered the cooling mat during the Black Friday special. I only ordered one, since my female doesn’t like sleeping on mats or anything like that. She always pushes it out of the way. Well I put the mat down and it’s her new spot to take a nap on! I guess I will be ordering one or two more!! I just love your products!
Only had this mat for 2 days. My boy has enjoyed sleeping it. I can't wait to try it at agility class and in the car with this warmer weather.
Love these. It’s really nice to buy a product that cools your dog down as advertised!
It's well made & very nice, but my dog keeps pushing it out of her way. Perhaps she generates too much body heat?
I love how they are made and they are nice and cool for the dog. My only negative is that they are so light that they bunch up instead of staying flat in the crate.
We love these mats and use them at the dog show. You can slip an ice pack inside and it stays cold to cool all day long. They are gorgeous mats.
Yes..I have 4 of these. My dog spends practically all day on one of her 4 beds and/or in her crate at night or when we are gone. She has very thick fur and develops sores easily and is on allergy medication. These mats are just part of my regimen to keep her cooler and comfortable
I ordered a bling mat for my forever hot cocker spaniel, Cash. This dude has a massive amount of hair and even when clipped short seeks the cold. We do nose work a sport done best when not panting. We recently trialed in North Carolina on an 80F weekend and l crated in the car. With a fan for each dog and shade cloth over the car I didn't see Cash pant once! I was sold after the weekend and ordered a second one for my other cocker Raleigh when we got home. The bling fabric awesome, catches everyone's eye, easy to store and tote from place to place and machine washable!!! Customer service also A+, pleasant on the phone for questions and over quick to respond over email.
This is something that my Airedale refused to approach, let along lay down....could be the crinkly fabric. After a couple of times, "Down", he comes in the house after heating up outside and heads for the K-9 Pad. Wonderful
The pad is surprisingly cool to the touch. Our Bernedoodle is mainly black and gets very hot when he has to be in his kennel at agility trials. This solves the problem without having to wet him down.
